وَ إِذا ذُكِرَ اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ اشْمَأَزَّتْ قُلُوبُ الَّذِينَ لا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِالآْخِرَةِ وَ إِذا ذُكِرَ الَّذِينَ مِنْ دُونِهِ إِذا هُمْ يَسْتَبْشِرُونَ

و إذا ذكر اللّه وحده اشمأزّت قلوب الّذين لا يؤمنون بالآخرة و إذا ذكر الّذين من دونه إذا هم يستبشرون

Wa-itha thukira Allahu wahdahu ishmaazzat quloobu allatheena la yu/minoona bial-akhirati wa-itha thukira allatheena min doonihi itha hum yastabshiroona

چون تنها خدا را ياد کنند دلهاي آن کسان که به قيامت ايمان نياورده ، اندنفرت گيرد ، و چون نام ديگري جز او برده شود شادمان شوند

و چون خداوند به تنهايى ياد شود، دلهاى نامؤمنان به آخرت تنگ شود، و چون كسانى كه در برابر او به پرستش گرفته شده اند، ياد شوند، آنگاه است كه آنان شادمانى مى كنند.

و چون پيش كسانى كه به آخرت ايمان و عقيده‏اى ندارند خدا را به وحدانيت ياد كنند، قلبشان منزجر و سخت دلتنگ ميشوند و هنگامى كه معبودان آنها را نام ببرند، آن گاه خوشحال و مسرور ميشوند.

و هنگامی که خدا به یگانگی یاد می شود [و نامی از معبودانشان به میان نمی آید] دل های کسانی که به آخرت ایمان ندارند، نفرت پیدا می کند و چون یادی از معبودان دیگر به میان می آید، ناگاه مسرور و شاد می شوند!!

و آنگه كه نام خدا برده شود در حاليكه يكتاست نفرت گيرد دلهاى آنانكه ايمان نمى‏آورند بسراى آخرت و هرگاه برده شود نام معبودان (و بتان كه مى‏پرستند) بجز خداى ناگاه ايشان فرحناك شوند

و چون خدا به تنهايى ياد شود، دلهاى كسانى كه به آخرت ايمان ندارند، منزجر مى‏گردد، و چون كسانى غير از او ياد شوند، بناگاه آنان شادمانى مى‏كنند.

و چون خدا به يگانگى ياد شود دلهاى كسانى كه به آخرت ايمان نياورده‏اند بيزار شود و چون از معبودهاى ديگر ياد شود شادمان مى‏شوند.

و چون نام خداى يگانه را ياد كنند، دلهاى كسانى كه بقيامت ايمان نمى‏آورند تنگ گردد، و چون [نام‏] كسانى را كه جز او هستند ياد كنند، آن گاه آنها شادمان گردند.

و چون ذكر كرده شود خدا تنها در هم شود دلهاى آنان كه ايمان ندارند بآخرت و چون ذكر كرده شود آنان كه از غير اوست آنگاه ايشان شاد مى‏شوند

و چون خداوند به تنهايى ياد شود، دلهاى كسانى كه به آخرت ايمان نمى‏آورند متنفّر مى‏شود و چون كسانى جز او ياد شوند، آن گاه است كه آنان شاد مى‏شوند

هنگامی که خداوند به یگانگی یاد می‌شود، دلهای کسانی که به آخرت ایمان ندارند مشمئزّ (و متنفّر) می‌گردد؛ امّا هنگامی که از معبودهای دیگر یاد می‌شود، آنان خوشحال می‌شوند.

و چون خداوند به يگانگى ياد شود دلهاى كسانى كه به آن جهان ايمان ندارند برمد، و چون آنان كه جز او هستند- معبودهاشان- ياد كرده شوند ناگاه شادمان گردند.

و چون ذكر كرده شود خدا تنها در هم شود دلهاى آنان كه ايمان ندارند باخرت و چون ذكر كرده شود آنان كه از غير اوست آنگاه ايشان شاد مى‏شوند

و گاهى كه نام خدا برده شود به تنهائى برنجد دلهاى آنان كه ايمان ندارند به آخرت و هر گاه ياد شوند آنان كه جز اويند ناگاه ايشانند شادمانان

و چون نزد مردم بی‌ایمان به آخرت، خدا را به یکتایی یاد کنند (آنها از ذکر حق) سخت ملول و دلتنگ می‌شوند و هرگاه ذکر غیر خدا (از بتها و امور مادی) کنند خرّم و دلشاد می‌گردند.

هنگامي كه فقط نام خدا برده شود، قلب هاي كساني كه به آخرت ايمان ندارند، با بيزاري مي گيرد. اما هنگامي كه نام ديگران در كنار او برده شود، راضي مي شوند.

And if God was mentioned/remembered alone (the) hearts/minds (of) those who do not believe with the end (other life) became uptight/repulsed , and if those from other than Him were mentioned/remembered then they are announcing good news/rejoicing .

And when Allah Alone is mentioned, the hearts of those who believe not in the Hereafter are filled with disgust (from the Oneness of Allah () and when those (whom they obey or worship) besides Him (like all false deities other than Allah, it may be a Messenger like Iesa (Jesus) son of Maryam (Mary), Uzair (Ezra), an angel, a pious man, a jinn, or any other creature even idols, graves of religious people, saints, priests, monks, etc.) are mentioned, behold, they rejoice!

When God is mentioned alone, then shudder the hearts of those who believe not in the Hereafter, but when those apart from Him are mentioned behold, they rejoice.

And yet, whenever God alone is mentioned, the hearts of those who will not believe in the life to come contract with bitter aversion – whereas, when those [imaginary powers] are mentioned side by side with Him, lo, they rejoice! [Since cognition of God must have a sense of moral responsibility as its correlate, the godless shrink from it, and joyfully turn to the «worship» – real or metaphoric – of imaginary powers which make no such moral demand.]

Als de eenige God wordt vermeld, krimpt het hart van spijt ineen van hen, die niet in het volgende leven gelooven; maar als de valsche goden, die naast hem vereerd worden, vermeld worden, ziet, dan zijn zij met vreugde vervuld.

And when God Alone is mentioned, the hearts of those who do not believe in the Hereafter are filled with aversion; and when others are mentioned beside Him, they rejoice!

Когда поминают одного лишь Аллаха, содрогаются от отвращения сердца тех, которые не веруют в Последнюю жизнь. А когда поминают тех, которые ниже Него, они радуются.

Когда произносят [имя] [Аллаха], сжимаются [от отвращения] сердца тех, которые не веруют в будущую жизнь. А когда произносят имена других богов помимо Него, �
�о они ликуют.

And when Allah alone is mentioned, the hearts of those who do not believe in the hereafter shrink, and when those besides Him are mentioned, lo! they are joyful.

And when Allah alone is mentioned, the hearts of those who believe not in the Hereafter are repelled, and when those (whom they worship) beside Him are mentioned, behold! they are glad.

And when God alone is mentioned the hearts of those who believe not in the hereafter quake, and when those beside Him are mentioned, lo, they are joyful!

Allah yalnız başına anıldığında, âhirete inanmayanların kalpleri nefretle ürperir; O’nun berisindeki, ilahlaştırılmış kişilerle birlikte anıldığında ise hemen müjdelenmiş gibi sevinirler.

When Allah is mentioned alone, the hearts of those who do not believe in the Everlasting Life shrink in aversion. But when those, other than Him, are mentioned, see, they are filled with glad tidings.

And yet, when Allah alone is mentioned, the hearts of those who believe not in the life to come, shrink with aversion. But, when others (such as their ‹holy men›) are mentioned besides Him, behold, they rejoice. (Belief in the Hereafter essentially involves belief in the unwavering Law of Recompense where all actions have their repercussions).

When GOD ALONE is mentioned, the hearts of those who do not believe in the Hereafter shrink with aversion. But when others are mentioned beside Him, they become satisfied.

But when the One God is named, the hearts of those who believe not in the life to come, shrivel up: but when the deities who are adored beside Him are named, lo! they are filled with joy.

When the one sole God is mentioned, the hearts of those who believe not in the life to come, shrink with horror: But when the false gods, which are worshipped besides Him, are mentioned, behold, they are filled with joy.

And when ALLAH alone is mentioned, the hearts of those, who believe not in the Hereafter, shrink with aversion; but when those beside HIM are mentioned, behold ! they begin to rejoice.

Wenn Allah, der Einzige, genannt wird, dann krampfen sich die Herzen derer, die nicht ans Jenseits glauben, in Widerwillen zusammen; werden aber die genannt, die statt Ihn (verehrt werden), siehe, dann beginnen sie zu frohlocken.

Когда напоминают (им), что Бог Един, ■ Сжимаются (от ужаса) сердца всех тех, ■ Кто во вторую жизнь не верит. ■ Когда ж напоминают о других, кроме Него, ■ Увы, их радость наполняет.

Әгәр Аллаһуның бер генә икәнлеге зекер ителсә, ахирәт көненә ышанмаган кешеләрнең күңелләре нәфрәтләнер вә тетрәр. Әгәр Аллаһудан башка нәрсәнең исеме зекер ителсә, ул вакытта алар шатланырлар.

اور جب تنہا خدا کا ذکر کیا جاتا ہے تو جو لوگ آخرت پر ایمان نہیں رکھتے ان کے دل منقبض ہوجاتے ہیں۔ اور جب اس کے سوا اوروں کا ذکر کیا جاتا ہے تو خوش ہوجاتے ہیں

اور جب تنہا اللہ ہی کا ذکر کیا جاتا ہے تو اُن لوگوں کے دل گھٹن اور کراہت کا شکار ہو جاتے ہیں جو آخرت پر یقین نہیں رکھتے، اور جب اللہ کے سوا اُن بتوں کا ذکر کیا جاتا ہے (جنہیں وہ پوجتے ہیں) تو وہ اچانک خوش ہو جاتے ہیں،
