وَ قالُوا لَوْ شاءَ الرَّحْمنُ ما عَبَدْناهُمْ ما لَهُمْ بِذلِكَ مِنْ عِلْمٍ إِنْ هُمْ إِلاَّ يَخْرُصُونَ

و قالوا لو شاء الرّحمن ما عبدناهم ما لهم بذلك من علم إن هم إلاّ يخرصون

Waqaloo law shaa alrrahmanu ma AAabadnahum ma lahum bithalika min AAilmin in hum illa yakhrusoona

گفتند : اگر خداي رحمان مي خواست ما فرشتگان را نمي پرستيديم آنچه مي گويند از روي ناداني است و جز به دروغ سخن نمي گويند

و گويند اگر خداوند رحمان مى خواست ما آنان [فرشتگان] را نمى پرستيديم; آنان را به اين امر، علمى نيست; ايشان جز دروغ نمى بافند.

و ميگويند: اگر خداى رحمان ميخواست، ما هرگز آنها را نمى‏پرستيديم. آنان در اينمورد علم و اطلاعى ندارند، جز اينكه دروغ و افترا ميگويند.

و گفتند: اگر خدا می خواست ما آنان را نمی پرستیدیم. ادعایشان متکی بر هیچ [دلیل] و دانشی نیست [و مایه ای جز جهل و نادانی ندارد] ، فقط حدس می زنند و دروغ می بافند؛

و گفتند مشركان اگر مى‏خواست خداى بخشنده نمى‏پرستيديم فرشتگان را نيست ايشان را بدانچه مى‏گويند هيچ دانشى نيستند ايشان مگر آنكه بگزاف حرف مى‏زنند

و مى‏گويند: «اگر [خداى‏] رحمان مى‏خواست، آنها را نمى‏پرستيديم.» آنان به اين [دعوى‏] دانشى ندارند [و] جز حدس نمى‏زنند.

گفتند: «اگر خداى رحمان اراده مى‏كرد ما پرستنده آنها نمى‏شديم.» به اين امر نيز علمى ندارند و جز دروغ نمى‏گويند.

و گويند: اگر خدا مى‏خواست، ما آنها را نمى‏پرستيديم. ايشان را به آن دانشى نيست [و] آنها جز دروغ نمى‏گويند.

و گفتند اگر خواسته بود خداى بخشنده نمى‏پرستيديم ايشانرا نيست ايشانرا بآن هيچ علمى نيستند ايشان جز آنكه دروغ ميگويند

و گويند: اگر [خداوند] رحمان مى‏خواست آنها را نمى‏پرستيديم. آنان به اين [موضوع‏] هيچ علمى ندارند. آنان [چيزى‏] جز دروغ نمى‏گويند

آنان گفتند: «اگر خداوند رحمان می‌خواست ما آنها را پرستش نمی‌کردیم!» ولی به این امر هیچ گونه علم و یقین ندارند و جز دروغ چیزی نمی‌گویند!

و گفتند: اگر خداى رحمان مى‏خواست آنها را نمى‏پرستيديم. آنان را بدان [سخن‏] هيچ دانشى نيست اينان جز دروغ و گزاف نمى‏گويند.

و گفتند اگر خواسته بود خداى بخشنده نمى‏پرستيديم ايشان را نيست ايشان را بان هيچ علمى نيستند ايشان جز آنكه دروغ ميگويند

و گفتند اگر مى خواست خداوند مهربان نمى پرستيديمشان نيستشان بدان دانشى نيستند آنان جز آنكه دروغ مى گويند

و مشرکان گویند: اگر خدا می‌خواست ما آنها (فرشتگان و بتان) را نمی‌پرستیدیم. گفتار آنها نه از روی علم و دانش است بلکه به وهم و پندار باطل خویش می‌گویند.

آنها حتي گفتند: اگر آن بخشنده ترين مي خواست، ما آنها را پرستش نمي كرديم. آنها براي چنين ادعايي هيچ پايه و اساسي ندارند؛ آنها فقط حدس مي زنند.

And they said: «If the merciful willed/wanted we would not have worshipped them, none from knowledge with that (is) for them, that truly they are except lying/speculating.

And they said: «If it had been the Will of the Most Beneficent (Allah), we should not have worshipped them (false deities).» They have no knowledge whatsoever of that. They do nothing but lie!

They say, ‹Had the All-merciful so willed, we would not have served them.› They have no knowledge of that; they are only conjecturing.

Yet they say, «Had [not] the Most Gracious so willed, we would never have worshipped them!» [But] they cannot have any knowledge of [His having willed] such a thing: they do nothing but guess. [I.e., they cannot have any «knowledge» of something that is devoid of all reality – because, far from having «willed» their sin, God had left it to their free will to make a moral choice between right and wrong. En zij zeggen: Indien het Gode had behaagd, zouden wij hen niet hebben vereerd. Zij hebben geene kennis daarvan, zij spreken slechts eene ijdele leugen uit.

And they said: "If the Almighty willed, we would not have worshipped them." They have no knowledge of this; they only conjecture.

Dicono: «Se il Compassionevole avesse voluto, non le avremmo adorate». Non hanno alcuna scienza in proposito, non esprimono che mere supposizioni.

And they said: "If it had been the Will of the Most Beneficent (Allah), we should not have worshipped them (false deities)." They have no knowledge whatsoever of that. They do nothing but lie!

Они сказали: «Если бы Милостивый пожелал, то мы не поклонялись бы им». У них нет об этом никакого знания, и они всего лишь лгут.

Они говорят: «Если бы Милосердному было угодно, то мы не поклонялись бы им». Они ничего не ведают об этом и лишь болтают, что им вздумается.

And they say: If the Beneficent Allah had pleased, we should never have worshipped them. They have no knowledge of this; they only lie.

And they say: If the Beneficent One had (so) willed, we should not have worshipped them. They have no knowledge whatsoever of that. They do but guess.

and they say, ‹Had the Merciful pleased we should never have worshipped them.› They have no knowledge of that, they only conjecture.

Bir de dediler ki: «Rahman dileseydi, onlara tapınmazdık.» Bu konuda hiçbir bilgileri yoktur. Sadece saçmalıyorlar.

They say: ‹Had it been the will of the Merciful, we would never have worshipped them. ‹ Of this they have no knowledge, they are but guessing.

Yet they say, «If it had been the Will of the Beneficent, we should not have worshiped them.» But, of that, they have no knowledge. (That there is no room for fatalism in Divine Laws. Humans have been endowed with free will (6:149), (36:47). They only wander in the valley of conjecture.

They even said, «If the Most Gracious willed, we would not have worshipped them.» They have no basis for such a claim; they only conjecture.

And they say: «Had the God of Mercy so willed it we should never have worshipped them.» No knowledge have they in this: they only lie.

And they say, if the Merciful had pleased, we had not worshipped them. They have no knowledge herein: They only utter a vain lie.

And they say, `If the Gracious God had so willed, we should not have worshiped them.› They have no knowledge whatsoever of that. They do nothing but conjecture.

Und sie sprechen: «Hätte der Gnadenreiche es gewollt, wir würden sie nicht verehrt haben.» Sie haben keinerlei Kenntnis hiervon; sie vermuten nur.

И говорят они: «Желал того бы Милосердный, ■ Не поклонялись бы мы им». ■ Об этом нет у них познанья никакого, – ■ Лишь измышляют всё они!

Кәферләр әйтерләр: «Әгәр Аллаһ фәрештәләргә гыйбадәт кылуыбызны теләмәсә иде, без әлбәттә, аларга гыйбадәт кылмас идек». Аллаһ әйтер: «Аларның ул сүзләрне әйтүдә белемнәре юктыр, алар хакны сөйләүче түгелләр, мәгәр ялган сөйлиләр.»

اور کہتے ہیں اگر خدا چاہتا تو ہم ان کو نہ پوجتے۔ ان کو اس کا کچھ علم نہیں۔ یہ تو صرف اٹکلیں دوڑا رہے ہیں

اور وہ کہتے ہیں کہ اگر رحمان چاہتا تو ہم اِن (بتوں) کی پرستش نہ کرتے، انہیں اِس کا (بھی) کچھ علم نہیں ہے وہ محض اَٹکل سے جھوٹی باتیں کرتے ہیں،
