وَ ما نُرِيهِمْ مِنْ آيَةٍ إِلاَّ هِيَ أَكْبَرُ مِنْ أُخْتِها وَ أَخَذْناهُمْ بِالْعَذابِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَرْجِعُونَ

و ما نريهم من آية إلاّ هي أكبر من أختها و أخذناهم بالعذاب لعلّهم يرجعون

Wama nureehim min ayatin illa hiya akbaru min okhtiha waakhathnahum bialAAathabi laAAallahum yarjiAAoona

و هر معجزه اي که به آنها نشان داديم از معجزه ديگر عظيم تر بود، آنگاه همه را به عذاب گرفتار کرديم ، باشد که بازگردند

و هيچ پديده شگرفى به آنان ننمايانديم مگر آنكه از همانندش بزرگتر بود، و ايشان را با عذاب فرو گرفتيم، باشد كه به راه آيند.

و ما هيچ آيتى بآنان نشان نداديم جز آنكه از آيات ديگر بزرگتر و مهم‏تر بود (تمام آنها را تكذيب كردند) ما آنها را (بكيفر كفرشان) بعذاب و بلايا گرفتار ساختيم تا مگر متنبه شوند و بسوى خدا باز گردند.

ما هیچ معجزه ای را به آنان نشان نمی دادیم مگر آنکه از مشابهش بزرگ تر بود، و آنان را به عذاب دنیایی گرفتار کردیم، باشد که بازگردند.

و ننموديم بديشان هيچ معجزه‏اى مگر آنكه آن بزرگتر بود از مانندش (از آن پيشين كه نشان داديم) و گرفتيمشان بعذاب تا آنكه ايشان برگردند

و [ما] نشانه‏اى به ايشان نمى‏نموديم مگر اينكه آن از نظير [و مشابه‏] آن بزرگتر بود، و به عذاب گرفتارشان كرديم تا مگر به راه آيند.

حال آن كه هر معجزه‏اى كه به آنها نشان داديم از معجزه ديگر مهمتر بود، آن گاه همه را به عذاب گرفتار كرديم باشد كه باز گردند.

و ما ايشان را هيچ آيتى ننموديم. مگر آنكه آن [آيت از آيت‏] همتاى خود بزرگتر بود، و آنان را بعذاب بگرفتيم باشد كه آنان [از كفر به ايمان‏] برگردند.

و نمينموديم ايشانرا هيچ آيتى مگر كه آن بزرگتر بود از مثل خود و گرفتيم ايشانرا بعذاب باشد كه ايشان بازگردند

و هيچ نشانه‏اى به آنان نمى‏نمايانديم مگر آنكه اين يك از همگن [پيشين‏] خود بزرگتر بود. و آنان را به عذاب فرو گرفتيم باشد كه باز گردند

ما هیچ آیه (و معجزه‌ای) به آنان نشان نمی‌دادیم مگر اینکه از دیگری بزرگتر (و مهمتر) بود؛ و آنها را به (انواع) عذاب گرفتار کردیم شاید بازگردند!

و آنان را هيچ نشانه‏اى- معجزه‏اى- ننموديم مگر آنكه بزرگتر از نشانه ديگر بود. و به عذاب گرفتارشان كرديم تا شايد باز گردند.

و نمينموديم ايشان را هيچ آيتى مگر كه آن بزرگتر بود از مثل خود و گرفتيم ايشان را بعذاب باشد كه ايشان باز گردند

و ننمائيمشان آيتى مگر آن است بزرگتر از خواهرش (ديگرى) و گرفتيمشان به عذاب باشد ايشان بازگردند

و ما هیچ معجز و آیتی به آنان نمی‌نمودیم جز آنکه از آیت دیگر بزرگتر (و در دلالت بر نبوت موسی روشن‌تر) بود (اما همه را تکذیب کردند) و ما هم آنها را به عذاب و بلایا گرفتار کردیم تا مگر (به سوی خدا) باز آیند.

هر نشانه اي كه به آنها نشان داديم بزرگ تر از قبلي بود. ما آنها را به بلا گرفتار كرديم، شايد توبه كنند.

And We do not show them/make them understand from a verse/evidence/sign except (that) it is greater than its sister, and We took/punished them with the torture, maybe/perhaps they return.

And not an Ayah (sign, etc.) We showed them but it was greater than its fellow, and We seized them with torment, in order that they might turn (from their polytheism to Allahs Religion (Islamic Monotheism)).

And not a sign We showed them, but it was greater than its sister sign; and We seized them with chastisement, that haply they should return.

although each sign that We showed them was weightier than the preceding one: and [each time] We took them to task through suffering, so that they might return [to Us]. [The concept of «returning» to God implies that the instinctive ability to perceive His existence is inherent in human nature as such, and that man’s «turning away» from God is only a consequence of spiritual degeneration, and not an original tendency or predisposition: cf. 7:172-173. The «suffering» (adhab) mentioned above relates to the plagues with which the recalcitrant Egyptians were struck (see 7:130 ff.).]

Wij toonden hun echter teekenen waarvan het eene grooter dan het andere was, en wij legden hun eene straf op, opdat zij wellicht zouden worden bekeerd.

And every sign We showed them was greater than the one before it, and We seized them with the torment, perhaps they would revert.

mentre ogni segno che facemmo vedere loro era più grande dell’altro! Li colpimmo con il castigo affinché tornassero a Noi…

And not an Ayah (sign, etc.) We showed them but it was greater than its fellow, and We seized them with torment, in order that they might turn (from their polytheism to Allahs Religion (Islamic Monotheism)).

Какое бы из знамений Мы ни показывали им, оно превосходило предыдущее. Мы подвергли их мучениям, чтобы они могли вернуться на прямой путь.

Мы не явили им знамения, которое не превосходило бы предшествующего. И Мы подвергли их наказанию, – быть может, они отвратятся [от заблуждения].

And We did not show them a sign but it was greater than its like, and We overtook them with chastisement that they may turn.

And every token that We showed them was greater than its sister (token), and We grasped them with the torment, that haply they might turn again.

And we did not show them a sign, but it was greater than its fellow; and we seized them with the torment, haply they might turn.

Onlara gösterir olduğumuz her ayet-alâmet, kızkardeşi ayet-alâmetten mutlaka daha büyüktür. Belki dönerler diye onları azapla da yakalamışızdır.

yet there was not a sign that We showed them that was not greater than its sister, and We seized them with the punishment so that they might return.

We showed them Sign after Sign each greater than the previous like of it, and We took them to task with suffering so that they might turn (to make amends (7:133).

Every sign we showed them was bigger than the one before it. We afflicted them with the plagues, perhaps they repent.

Though we shewed them no sign that was not greater than its fellow: and therefore did we lay hold on them with chastisement, to the intent that they might be turned to God.

although We shewed them no sign, but it was greater than the other: And We inflicted a punishment on them, that peradventure they might be converted.

And WE showed them no Sign but it was greater than its preceding sister Sign, and WE seized them with punishment, that they might turn to US.

Und Wir zeigten ihnen nicht ein Zeichen, das nicht größer gewesen wäre als sein orgänger, und Wir erfaßten sie mit Strafe, auf daß sie sich bekehren möchten.

Мы ни единого знаменья им не показали, ■ Что не было б значительнее первых, ■ И Мы подвергли наказанью их, ■ Чтобы могли (уразуметь и) обратиться (к Богу).

Без аларга могҗизаларны күрсәткән саен арттырыбрак вә ахыргысын әүвәлгесеннән зуррак итеп күрсәттек. Без аларны ґәзаб белән тоттык, шаять исән калганнары көферлектән иманга кайтырлар дип.

اور جو نشانی ہم ان کو دکھاتے تھے وہ دوسری سے بڑی ہوتی تھی اور ہم نے ان کو عذاب میں پکڑ لیا تاکہ باز آئیں

اور ہم انہیں کوئی نشانی نہیں دکھاتے تھے مگر (یہ کہ) وہ اپنے سے پہلی مشابہ نشانی سے کہیں بڑھ کر ہوتی تھی اور (بالآخر) ہم نے انہیں (کئی بار) عذاب میں پکڑا تاکہ وہ باز آجائیں،
