إِنَّ هؤُلاءِ لَيَقُولُونَ

إنّ هؤلاء ليقولون

Inna haola-i layaqooloona

هر آينه ، اينان مي گويند :

[و مى دانستيم كه] اينان خواهند گفت:

مشركان (از فرط جهالت) ميگويند:

اینان [که شرک و کفر سراپای وجودشان را فرا گرفته است] با اصرار [به اهل ایمان] می گویند:

البته اين گروه قريش مى‏گويند

هر آينه اين [كافران‏] مى‏گويند:

اينها مى‏گويند:

بيگمان اين [مشركان‏] گويند:

بدرستيكه اينها هر آينه ميگويند

بى گمان اينان مى‏گويند

اینها [= مشرکان‌] می‌گویند:

هر آينه اينان- كافران مكه- مى گويند:

بدرستى كه اينها هر آينه ميگويند

همانا اينان گويند

همانا اینان (یعنی مشرکان مانند دهریان) البته خواهند گفت،

نسل هاي حاضر مي گويند:

That truly those say (E):

Verily, these (Quraish) people are saying:

These men do say,

[Now,] behold, these [people] say indeed: [Although, on the face of it, by «these people» the Israelites are meant, the reference is obviously a general one, applying to all who hold the views expressed in the sequence, and in particular to the pagan contemporaries of the Prophet Muhammad. Nevertheless, there is a subtle connection between this passage and the preceding allusion to the «test» with which the children of Israel were to be faced: for it is a historical fact that up to the time of the destruction of the Second Temple and their dispersion by the Roman emperor Titus, the priestly aristocracy among the Jews, known as the Sadducees, openly denied the concepts of resurrection, divine judgment and life in the hereafter, and advocated a thoroughly materialistic outlook on life.]

These people now are saying:

Ora questi dicono:

Verily, these (Quraish) people are saying:

Most surely these do say:

Lo! these, forsooth, are saying:

Verily, these say,

Şimdi, şunlar tutmuş diyorlar ki:

Yet these say:

Behold, now, these people say,

The present generations say,

Yet these infidels say,

Verily these Meccans say,

These people do say,

Fürwahr, diese behaupten:

یہ لوگ یہ کہتے ہیں

بیشک وہ لوگ کہتے ہیں،
