ذُقْ إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ الْعَزِيزُ الْكَرِيمُ

ذق إنّك أنت العزيز الكريم

Thuq innaka anta alAAazeezu alkareemu

بچش ، که تو پيروزمند و، بزرگواري

[و بگوييدش] بچش كه تو [به خيال خودت] گرانقدر گرامى هستى.

(و بگوئيد) عذاب دوزخ را بچش كه تو همان شخص عزيز و گرامى هستى.

[و بگویید:] بچش که تو همان ارجمند و بزرگواری!!

(و بدو گويند از اين عذابها) بچش زيرا تو (نزد كسان) خود نيرومند و بزرگوارى

بچش كه تو همان ارجمند بزرگوارى!

بچش.- تو نيرومند بزرگوارى.

[و گويند:] بچش! [كه بگمان خود] عزيز كريم بودى

بچش بدرستيكه تو توئى عزيز گرامى

[مى‏گوييم‏] بچش. كه تو [به گمان خويش‏] عزيز [و] ارزشمندى

(به او گفته می‌شود:) بچش که (به پندار خود) بسیار قدرتمند و محترم بودی!

بچش، كه تو همان توانمند بزرگوارى

بچش بدرستى كه تو توئى عزيز گرامى

بچش كه توئى همانا آن مهتر گرامى

(و به استهزاء وی گویید: عذاب دوزخ را) بچش که تو بسیار (نزد خود) توانمند و گرامی هستی.

اين را بچش؛ تو بسيار قدرتمند بودي، بسيار محترم.

Taste/experience, that you are, you are the glorious/mighty , the honored/generous .

«Taste you (this)! Verily, you were (pretending to be) the mighty, the generous!

‹Taste! Surely thou art the mighty, the noble.

Taste it – thou who [on earth] hast considered thyself so mighty, so noble! [Lit., «for, behold, thou wert…», etc. – thus alluding to the sin of arrogance due to disbelief in a continuation of life after death and, hence, in man’s ultimate responsibility to God. (Cf. 96:6-7 – «Verily, man becomes grossly overweening whenever he believes himself to be self- sufficient» – and the corresponding note.)]

Zeggende: Proef dit; want gij zijt de machtige en eerbiedwaardige persoon.

"Taste this; surely you are the noble, the generous!"

Gusta [questo]: sei forse tu l’eccelso, il nobile?».

"Taste you (this)! Verily, you were (pretending to be) the mighty, the generous!

Вкушай, ведь ты – могущественный, благородный!

[И скажите ему]: «Вкуси [муку], ведь ты [был] великим, благородным мужем! «»

Taste; you forsooth are the mighty, the honorable:

(Saying): Taste! Lo! thou wast forsooth the mighty, the noble!

Taste! verily, thou art the mighty, the honourable!

«Tat bakalım! Hani sen onurluydun, seçkindin.»

(Saying): ‹Taste, surely you are the mighty and noble!

Taste! Behold, you considered yourself so mighty, so noble. (But the Law of Requital is absolutely just (56:52)).

«Taste this; you were so powerful, so honorable.»

– ‹Taste this:› for thou forsooth art the mighty, the honourable!

saying, taste this; for thou art that mighty and honourable person.

And shall say to him, `Taste it. Thou didst consider thyself the mighty, the honourable one;

Koste! Du hieltest dich für den Mächtigen, den Angesehenen.

Вкуси же этого, – ■ Ведь ты могуч и знатен.

Соңра аңа әйтерләр: «Таты ґәзабыңны, син дөньяда кавемең каршында байлыгың вә зурлыгың илә ґәзиз вә хөрмәтле идең.

(اب) مزہ چکھ۔ تو بڑی عزت والا (اور) سردار ہے

مَزہ چکھ لے، ہاں تُو ہی (اپنے گمان اور دعوٰی میں) بڑا معزّز و مکرّم ہے،
