ثُمَّ جَعَلْناكَ عَلى شَرِيعَةٍ مِنَ الأَْمْرِ فَاتَّبِعْها وَ لا تَتَّبِعْ أَهْواءَ الَّذِينَ لا يَعْلَمُونَ

ثمّ جعلناك على شريعة من الأمر فاتّبعها و لا تتّبع أهواء الّذين لا يعلمون

Thumma jaAAalnaka AAala shareeAAatin mina al-amri faittabiAAha wala tattabiAA ahwaa allatheena la yaAAlamoona

پس تو را به راه دين انداختيم از آن راه برو ، و از پي خواهش نادانان مرو

سپس تو را برخوردار از آبشخورى از امر [دين] ساختيم، پس از آن پيروى كن و از هوى و هوس نادانان پيروى مكن.

ما تو را بر شريعتى كامل و استوار در امر دين مقرر فرموديم. تو از آن شريعت پيروى كن و هرگز پيرو خواستها و تمايلات مردم نادان مباش.

سپس تو را [در امر نبوّت و دین] بر آیینی ویژه و کامل قرار دادیم؛ بنابراین از آن پیروی کن و از هواهای نفسانی کسانی که [به حقایق] معرفت و آگاهی ندارند، پیروی مکن.

سپس قرار داديم ترا (اى پيامبر) بر شريعتى (و راهى روشن) از كار دين پس پيروى كن آن را و پيروى مكن آرزوهاى آنان را كه نمى‏دانند (حق را)

سپس تو را در طريقه آيينى [كه ناشى‏] از امر [خداست‏] نهاديم. پس آن را پيروى كن، و هوسهاى كسانى را كه نمى‏دانند پيروى مكن.

آن گاه تو را در راه دين قرار داديم، از آن پيروى كن و از هوسهاى ناآگاهان پيروى نكن.

سپس تو را بر شريعتى از كار دين [آگاه‏] كرديم، پس از آن پيروى كن، و پيروى مكن آرزوهاى كسانى را كه نمى‏دانند.

پس گردانيديم ترا بر طريقه از امر دين پس پيروى كن آنرا و پيروى مكن خواهش‏هاى آنان را كه نمى‏دانند

آن گاه تو را بر راه روشنى از دين قرار داديم. پس از آن پيروى كن و از خواسته‏هاى آنان كه نمى‏دانند پيروى مكن

سپس تو را بر شریعت و آیین حقّی قرار دادیم؛ از آن پیروی کن و از هوسهای کسانی که آگاهی ندارند پیروی مکن!

سپس تو را بر راه و روشى از كار [دين و شريعت‏] نهاديم، پس آن را پيروى كن و از هوسها و خواهشهاى دل كسانى كه نمى‏دانند پيروى مكن.

پس گردانيديم ترا بر طريقه از امر دين پس پيروى كن آنرا و پيروى مكن خواهش‏هاى آنان را كه نمى‏دانند

سپس قرار داديم تو را بر آئينى از كار پس پيرويش كن و پيروى مكن هوسهاى آنان را كه نمى دانند

سپس ما تو را بر شریعت کامل در امر دین مقرر فرمودیم. تو آن را کاملا پیروی کن و هیچ پیرو هوای نفس مردم (مشرک) نادان مباش.

سپس تو را انتخاب كرديم تا قوانين صحيح را برقرار كني؛ از اين پيروي كن و از خواسته هاي كساني كه نمي دانند، پيروي نكن.

Then We made/put you on God’s decreed way of life from the order/command so follow it, and do not follow (the) self attractions for desires (of) those who do not know.

Then We have put you (O Muhammad SAW) on a plain way of (Our) commandment (like the one which We commanded Our Messengers before you (i.e. legal ways and laws of the Islamic Monotheism)). So follow you that (Islamic Monotheism and its laws), and follow not the desires of those who know not. (Tafsir At-Tabaree Vol. , Page ).

Then We set thee upon an open way of the Command; therefore follow it, and follow not the caprices of those who do not know.

And, finally, [O Muhammad,] We have set thee on a way by which the purpose [of faith] may be fulfilled: [Lit., «on a way of the purpose [of faith]»: see note on verse17 above. It is to be borne in mind that the literal meaning of the term shariah is «the way to a watering-place», and since water is indispensable for all organic life, this term has in time come to denote a «system of laws», both moral and practical, which shows man the way towards spiritual fulfillment and social welfare: hence, «religious law» in the widest sense of the term. (See in this connection note on the second part of 5:48.)] so follow thou this [way], and follow not the likes and dislikes of those who do not know [the truth]. [I.e., who are not – or not primarily – motivated by God-consciousness and, hence, are swayed only by what they themselves regard as «right» in accordance with worldly, changing circumstances.]

Later wezen wij u, o Mahomet! aan, om eene wet te verkondigen, nopens de zaak van den godsdienst; volg die dus, en volg niet de begeerten van hen, die onwetend zijn.

Then We have established you on the correct path; so follow it and do not follow the desires of those who do not know.

In seguito ti abbiamo posto sulla via dell’Ordine. Seguila e non seguire le passioni di coloro che non conoscono nulla.

Then We have put you (O Muhammad SAW) on a plain way of (Our) commandment (like the one which We commanded Our Messengers before you (i.e. legal ways and laws of the Islamic Monotheism)). So follow you that (Islamic Monotheism and its laws), and follow not the desires of those who know not. (Tafsir At-Tabaree Vol. 25, Page 146).

Потом Мы наставили тебя на путь из повеления. Следуй им и не потакай желаниям тех, которые не обладают знанием.

Потом Мы наставили тебя [, Мухаммад,] на путь велений [веры]. Следуй же по нему и не уступай низменным желаниям невежд.

Then We have made you follow a course in the affair, therefore follow it, and do not follow the low desires of those who do not know.

And now have We set thee (O Muhammad) on a clear road of (Our) commandment; so follow it, and follow not the whims of those who know not.

Then we did set thee over a law concerning the affair: follow it then, and follow not the lusts of those who do not know.

Daha sonra seni, iş ve yönetimde bir şerîat/bir yol-yöntem üzerine koyduk. Artık ona uy! Bilmeyenlerin keyifleri ardınca gitme!

And now, We have set you on the jurisprudence of the Command, therefore follow it and do not follow the desires of those who do not know.

And now We have appointed you (O Messenger) on the Right Way. So follow it, and yield not to the whims of the ignorant. (42:13).

We then appointed you to establish the correct laws; you shall follow this, and do not follow the wishes of those who do not know.

Afterwards we set thee over our divine law: follow it then: and follow not the wishes of those who have no knowledge,

Afterwards We appointed thee, O Mohammed, to promulgate a law concerning the business of religion: Wherefore follow the same, and follow not the desires of those who are ignorant.

Then WE set thee on a clear path concerning the Affair; so follow it, and follow not the vain desires of those who do not know.

Dann brachten Wir dich auf einen klaren Pfad in der Sache des Glaubens: so befolge ihn, und folge nicht den Launen derer, die nichts wissen.

Потом Мы (повелением Своим) ■ Тебя наставили на путь Закона – (шариата), – ■ Так следуй же ему, ■ А не страстям людей, которые не знают.

Ий Мухәммәд г-м, Без сиңа дин эшләрендә шәригать төзеп бирдек, шул Без төзеп биргән шәригать хөкемнәренә ияр, әмма җаһиллек белән батыл динне тотучы мөшрикләрнең һәм бидеґәтче сукырларның нәфес һаваларына яки аларның гадәтләренә иярмәгел, алар эшләгән шәригатькә хыйлаф эшләрне эшләмәгел, Безнең шәригатебезгә иярмәгән кешеләргә дини мәрәсемнәр үтәмәгел, һәм бидеґәт, хорафәт, ырымнардан ерак булгыл!

پھر ہم نے تم کو دین کے کھلے رستے پر (قائم) کر دیا تو اسی (رستے) پر چلے چلو اور نادانوں کی خواہشوں کے پیچھے نہ چلنا

پھر ہم نے آپ کو دین کے کھلے راستے (شریعت) پر مامور فرما دیا، سو آپ اسی راہ پر چلتے جائیے اور اُن لوگوں کی خواہشوں کو قبول نہ فرمائیے جنہیں (آپ کی اور آپ کے دین کی عظمت و حقّانیت کا) علم ہی نہیں ہے،
