وَ ما خَلَقْتُ الْجِنَّ وَ الإِْنْسَ إِلاَّ لِيَعْبُدُونِ
و ما خلقت الجنّ و الإنس إلاّ ليعبدون
Wama khalaqtu aljinna waal-insa illa liyaAAbudooni
جن و انس را جز براي پرستش خود نيافريده ام
و جن و انس را جز براى آنكه مرا بپرستند، نيافريده ام.
من جماعت جن و انس را نيافريدم جز آنكه مرا به يكتايى بپرستند.
و جن و انس را جز برای اینکه مرا بپرستند نیافریدیم؛
(بعناد كافران دست از تربيت مؤمنان برمدار) و نيافريديم پرى و آدمى را مگر براى آنكه بپرستند مرا
و جن و انس را نيافريدم جز براى آنكه مرا بپرستند.
من جن و انس را جز براى عبادت نيافريدم.
و جن و انس را نيافريدم، مگر براى اينكه مرا پرستش كنند.
و نيافريدم جن و انس را مگر كه بپرستند مرا
و جنّ و انس را جز براى آنكه مرا بندگى كنند نيافريدهام
من جنّ و انس را نیافریدم جز برای اینکه عبادتم کنند (و از این راه تکامل یابند و به من نزدیک شوند)!
و پريان و آدميان را نيافريدم مگر تا مرا [به يگانگى] بپرستند.
و نيافريدم جن و انس را مگر كه بپرستند مرا
و نه آفريدم پرى و آدمى را مگر تا پرستشم كنند
و من جنّ و انس را نیافریدم مگر برای اینکه مرا (به یکتایی) پرستش کنند.
من جن ها و انسان ها را نيافريدم مگر آنكه فقط مرا بپرستند.
And I did not create the Jinns and the human/mankind except to worship Me.
And I (Allah) created not the jinns and humans except they should worship Me (Alone).
I have not created jinn and mankind except to serve Me.
And [tell them that] I have not created the invisible beings [For a full discussion of the term jinn («invisible beings»), see Appendix III. As pointed out by most of the philologists – and stressed by Razi in his comments on the above verse – this term includes also the angels, since they, too, are beings or forces «concealed from man’s senses».] and men to any end other than that they may [know and] worship Me. [Thus, the innermost purpose of the creation of all rational beings is their cognition (marifah) of the existence of God and, hence, their conscious willingness to conform their own existence to whatever they may perceive of His will and plan: and it is this twofold concept of cognition and willingness that gives the deepest meaning to what the Quran describes as «worship» (ibadah). As the next verse shows, this spiritual call does not arise from any supposed «need» on the part of the Creator, who is self-sufficient and infinite in His power, but is designed as an instrument for the inner development of the worshipper, who, by the act of his conscious self-surrender to the all-pervading Creative Will, may hope to come closer to an understanding of that Will and, thus, closer to God Himself.]
Ik heb de geniussen en menschen met geen ander doel geschapen, dan opdat zij mij zouden dienen.
I did not create the Jinn and the humans except to serve Me.
E› solo perché Mi adorassero che ho creato i dèmoni gli uomini.
And I (Allah) created not the jinns and humans except they should worship Me (Alone).
Я сотворил джиннов и людей только для того, чтобы они поклонялись Мне.
Я создал джиннов и людей только ради того, чтобы они поклонялись Мне.
And I have not created the jinn and the men except that they should serve Me.
I created the jinn and humankind only that they might worship Me.
And I have not created the ginn and mankind save that they may worship me.
Ben, cinleri ve insanları bana ibadet etmeleri/benim için iş yapıp değer üretmeleri dışında bir şey için yaratmadım.
I have not created mankind and jinn except to worship Me.
And I have not created the nomads or the urban but to consciously and willingly live by My Laws. (‹Ibadah›, usually translated, as worship is better applicable in that sense to idol-worship. And since the Qur’an consistently promotes action over ritual, ‹Ibadah› of Allah is better understood as serving Him by serving His creation. That is in conformity with my rendering, ‹consciously and willingly live by –‹).
I did not create the jinns and the humans except to worship Me alone.
I have not created Djinn and men, but that they should worship me:
I have not created genii and men for any other end than that they should serve Me.
And I have not created the jinn and the men but that they may worship ME.
Und Ich habe die Dschinn und die Menschen nur darum erschaffen, daß sie Mir dienen.
Я создал джиннов и людей ■ Лишь для того, чтоб Мне они служили.
Кеше илә җенне халык кылмадым, мәгәр Миңа гыйбадәт кылсыннар өчен генә халык кылдым.
اور میں نے جنوں اور انسانوں کو اس لئے پیدا کیا ہے کہ میری عبادت کریں
اور میں نے جنّات اور انسانوں کو صرف اسی لئے پیدا کیا کہ وہ میری بندگی اختیار کریں،
