أَمْ تَأْمُرُهُمْ أَحْلامُهُمْ بِهذا أَمْ هُمْ قَوْمٌ طاغُونَ

أم تأمرهم أحلامهم بهذا أم هم قوم طاغون

Am ta/muruhum ahlamuhum bihatha am hum qawmun taghoona

آيا آنان را روياهايشان به اين پندارها کشانده يا خود مردمي طاغي هستند،

يا مگر خردهايشان به اين امر فرمان مى دهد، يا مگر ايشان قومى طغيانگرند.

آيا تخيلات واهى به آنان چنين حكم ميكند؟ يا آنكه آنان (ذاتا) جماعتى سركش و نافرمان هستند؟.

آیا عقل هایشان آنان را به این گفتارهای باطل و یاوه [بر ضد تو و قرآن] وا می دارد، یا [نه] آنان مردمی طغیان گر و سرکش اند؟

آيا فرمانشان مى‏دهد عقلهاى ايشان باين بلكه ايشان گروهى گردنكشند

آيا پندارهايشان آنان را به اين [موضعگيرى‏] وا مى‏دارد يا [نه،] آنها مردمى سركشند؟

آيا خيالات باطل آنها را بر اين مى‏دارد يا مردمى طغيانگرند؟

آيا آرزوهايشان آنان را به اين [گفتار] فرمان مى‏دهد، يا ايشان گروهى سركش‏اند؟

يا امر ميكند ايشانرا خردهاشان باين يا ايشان گروهى هستند زياده رو

آيا خردهايشان آنان را به اين [باور] فرمان مى‏دهد يا آنان گروهى سركشند؟

آیا عقلهایشان آنها را به این اعمال دستور می‌دهد، یا قومی طغیانگرند؟

يا مگر خردشان اين را به آنها فرمان مى‏دهد، يا خود مردمى سركش‏اند؟

يا امر ميكند ايشان را خردهاشان باين يا ايشان گروهى هستند زياده رو

يا دستورشان دهد خردهاشان بدين بلكه ايشانند گروهى گردنكش

آیا زیرکی و خیالات باطلشان بر این وا می‌دارد (که تکذیب تو کنند) یا (از جهل و کبر و نخوت) خود قومی سرکش و نافرمانند؟

آيا خواب هايشان آنها را به چنين رفتاري امر مي كند، يا آنها طبيعتاً ستمكار هستند؟

Or their minds/dreams order/command them with that, or they are a tyrannizing/arrogant nation?

Do their minds command them this (i.e. to tell a lie against you (Muhammad SAW)) or are they people exceeding the bounds (i.e. from Belief in Allah to disbelief).

Or do their intellects bid them do this? Or are they an insolent people?

Is it their minds that bid them [to take] this [attitude] – or are they [simply] people filled with overweening arrogance? [The meaning is: Have they any reasoned objection to the contents of this message – or do they simply reject the truth because their false pride in man’s supposed «self-sufficiency» (cf. 96:6-7) prevents them from accepting the notion of responsibility before a Supreme Being?]

Doet hun onontwikkeld verstand hun dit zeggen, of zijn zij verdorven zondaren?

Or do their dreams dictate this to them, or are they a transgressing people?

E› la loro ragione che li induce a ciò, o sono un popolo di superbi?

Do their minds command them this (i.e. to tell a lie against you (Muhammad SAW)) or are they people exceeding the bounds (i.e. from Belief in Allah to disbelief).

Неужели умы повелевают им такое? Или же они являются людьми преступными?

То ли это их измышления побуждают их так [говорить], то ли они [просто] сбились с пути?

Nay! do their understandings bid them this? Or are they an inordinate people?

Do their minds command them to do this, or are they an outrageous folk?

Do their dreams bid them this? or are they an outrageous people?

Acaba bunu onlara hayalleri mi emrediyor yoksa bunlar azmış bir topluluk mu?

Or, do their intellects order them to do this? Or, are they an insolent people?

Do they behave like this because they would rather dream their lives through? Is this behavior really commanded by their intellect? Or is it that they are a people who wish to live without any moral bounds?

Is it their dreams that dictate their behavior, or are they naturally wicked?

Is it their dreams which inspire them with this? or is it that they are a perverse people?

Do their mature understandings bid them say this; or are they people who perversely transgress?

Does their reason enjoin this upon them or are they a rebellious people ?

Ist es ihr Verstand, der ihnen solches anbefiehlt, oder sind sie ein widerspenstiges Volk?

Быть может, неспособность к разуменью ■ Их побуждает ко сему? ■ Иль, может быть, они те люди, ■ Которые дозволенного грани перешли?

Әллә аларны Аллаһуга вә расүлгә каршылык кылырга гакыллары кушамы, әллә алар азган саташкан кавемнәрме?

کیا ان کی عقلیں ان کو یہی سکھاتی ہیں۔ بلکہ یہ لوگ ہیں ہی شریر

کیا اُن کی عقلیں انہیں یہ (بے عقلی کی باتیں) سُجھاتی ہیں یا وہ سرکش و باغی لوگ ہیں،
