وَ هُوَ بِالأُْفُقِ الأَْعْلى

و هو بالأفق الأعلى

Wahuwa bial-ofuqi al-aAAla

و او به کناره بلند آسمان بود

و او در افق بالا بود.

و در افق اعلى نمايان گرديد.

در حالی که در افق اعلا بود.

در حاليكه او بكناره بلندتر از آسمان بود

در حالى كه او در افق اعلى بود؛

همو كه در افق اعلى حضور داشت.

و همو در افق اعلى بود.

و او بود بر افق برتر

و او در كناره بلند آسمان بود

در حالی که در اُفق اعلی قرار داشت!

و او در افق برين- يا به كناره بلند آسمان- بود.

و او بود بر افق برتر

و او است بر افق فراتر

و آن رسول در افق اعلا (ی کمال و مشرق انسانیت) بود.

و آن رسول در افق اعلا بود .

And he/He (is) at/by the highest horizon/direction.

While he (Jibrael (Gabriel)) was in the highest part of the horizon,

being on the higher horizon,

appearing in the horizon’s loftiest part, [Cf. 81:23 and the corresponding note. According to the Quran and the testimony of authentic Traditions, the Prophet had no more than twice in his lifetime a vision of this angelic force «manifested in its true shape and nature» (which, as pointed out by Zamakhshari, is the meaning of the expression istawa in this context): once after the period called fatrat al-wahy (see introductory note to surah 74), and another time, as alluded to in verses 13-18, in the course of his mystic vision known as the «Ascension» (see Appendix IV).]

En hij verscheen in het hoogste gedeelte van den gezichteinder.

While he was at the highest horizon.

[si trovava] all’orizzonte più elevato,

While he (Jibrael (Gabriel)) was in the highest part of the horizon,

And he is in the highest part of the horizon.

When he was on the uppermost horizon.

he being in the loftiest tract.

En yüksek ufuktadır o.

while he was in the highest horizon;

At the highest horizon, (81:23)

At the highest horizon.

In the highest part of the horizon:

in the highest part of the horizon.

And HE revealed His Word when he was on the uppermost horizon.

Und er ist am obersten Horizont.

На высшей точке горизонта.

Ул фәрештә офыкның югарысында иде.

اور وہ (آسمان کے) اونچے کنارے میں تھے

اور وہ (محمد صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم شبِ معراج عالمِ مکاں کے) سب سے اونچے کنارے پر تھے (یعنی عالَمِ خلق کی انتہاء پر تھے)،
