وَ مَناةَ الثَّالِثَةَ الأُْخْرى

و مناة الثّالثة الأخرى

Wamanata alththalithata al-okhra

و منات آن بت سومي ديگر را ؟

و آن ديگرى منات را كه سومين است.

و بت سومى «منات» را ديده‏ايد؟ (آيا آنها قدرتى از خود دارند؟).

و منات، سومین [بت] دیگرتان [که شما آنها را تمثال فرشتگانی به عنوان دختران خدا می پندارید،]

و نيز از منات بت سومين ديگر (آيا توانائى چيزى را دارند)

و منات آن سومين ديگر،

و ديگرى «منات» را كه سومين باشد ديده‏ايد؟

و «منات» را كه بت سومى است؟

و منات سومى كه ديگر است

و به «منات» سومين [بت‏] بى‏ارزش [چه؟]

و «منات» که سوّمین آنهاست (دختران خدا هستند)؟!

و ديگر، منات را كه سومين آنهاست [آيا اينها را كه انبازان خداى گرفته‏ايد شايسته خدايى‏اند]؟!

و منات سومى كه ديگر است

و منوة سيّمين ديگر را

و منات سومین بت دیگرتان را دانستید (که جمادی بی‌نفع و ضرر است).

و با آن سومين، منات.

And Manat , the third the other?

And Manat (another idol of the pagan Arabs), the other third?

and Manat the third, the other?

as well as [in] Manat, the third and last [of this triad]? [After pointing out that the Prophet was granted true insight into some of the most profound verities, the Quran draws our attention to the «false symbols» which men so often choose to invest with divine qualities or powers: in this instance – by way of example – to the blasphemous imagery of the Propheet’s pagan contemporaries epitomized in the triad of Al-Lat, Manat and Al-Uzza. These three goddesses – regarded by the pagan Arabs as «God’s daughters» side by side with the angels (who, too, were conceived of as females) – were worshipped in most of pre-Islamic Arabia, and had several shrines in the Hijaz and in Najd. The worship of Al-Lat was particularly ancient and almost certainly of South-Arabian origin; she may have been the prototype of the Greek semi-goddess Leto, one of the wives of Zeus and mother of Apollo and Artemis.]

Und Manát, die dritte, die eine andere ist?

И вот еще одна, третья (богиня) – ал-Манат?

Вә алардан башка өченче Мәнат исемле сынымны күрәсезме? Ягъни шул һичнәрсәгә ярамаган сынымнар Аллаһуның ярдәмчесе яки угыллары була алалармы?

اور تیسرے منات کو (کہ یہ بت کہیں خدا ہوسکتے ہیں)

اور اُس تیسری ایک اور (دیوی) منات کو بھی (غور سے دیکھا ہے؟ تم نے انہیں اﷲ کی بیٹیاں بنا رکھا ہے؟)،
