وَ ما لَهُمْ بِهِ مِنْ عِلْمٍ إِنْ يَتَّبِعُونَ إِلاَّ الظَّنَّ وَ إِنَّ الظَّنَّ لا يُغْنِي مِنَ الْحَقِّ شَيْئاً

و ما لهم به من علم إن يتّبعون إلاّ الظّنّ و إنّ الظّنّ لا يغني من الحقّ شيئا

Wama lahum bihi min AAilmin in yattabiAAoona illa alththanna wa-inna alththanna la yughnee mina alhaqqi shay-an

، اينان را بدانچه مي گويند هيچ دانشي نيست تنها از پندار خود پيروي مي کنند و پندار براي شناخت حقيقت کافي نيست

و ايشان را به آن علمى نيست، جز از پندار پيروى نمى كنند و بيگمان پندار چيزى از حقيقت را به بار نمى آورد.

و حال آنكه هيچ اطلاعى از خلقت آنها ندارند و تنها از تخيلات پيروى ميكنند و تخيلات واهى كسى را بى‏نياز از حقيقت نميكند.

و آنان را به این کار هیچ آگاهی و معرفت نیست. [آنان] فقط از گمان پیروی می کنند، و بی تردید گمان [انسان را] برای دریافت حق، هیچ سودی نمی دهد.

و نيست ايشان را به آن (چه مى‏گويند) هيچ دانشى و ايشان پيروى نمى‏كنند مگر گمان را بى‏ترديد گمان بى‏نياز نمى‏كند از علم چيزى را (و ظن در معرفت حقايق هيچ بكار نيايد)

و ايشان را به اين [كار] معرفتى نيست. جز گمان [خود] را پيروى نمى‏كنند، و در واقع، گمان در [وصول به‏] حقيقت هيچ سودى نمى‏رساند.

حال آن كه اينان بدان يقين ندارند و تنها از گمان پيروى مى‏كنند كه گمان براى شناخت حقيقت كافى نيست.

و آنان را بدان هيچ دانشى نيست. [آنها] جز گمان را پيروى نمى‏كنند، و گمان چيزى از حق را بى نياز نكند.

و نيست ايشانرا بآن هيچ دانشى پيروى نمى‏كنند مگر گمان را و بدرستيكه گمان كفايت نميكند از حق چيزى را

و آنان به آن هيچ علمى ندارند. جز از گمان پيروى نمى‏كنند و به يقين گمان از [شناخت‏] حقّ چيزى را كفايت نمى‏كند.

آنها هرگز به این سخن دانشی ندارند، تنها از گمان بی‌پایه پیروی می‌کنند با اینکه «گمان» هرگز انسان را از حقّ بی‌نیاز نمی‌کند!

و آنان را هيچ دانشى بدان نيست. جز گمان را پيروى نمى‏كنند، و همانا گمان براى [شناخت‏] حقيقت هيچ سودى ندارد- كفايت نكند-.

و نيست ايشان را بان هيچ دانشى پيروى نمى‏كنند مگر گمان را و بدرستى كه گمان كفايت نمى‏كند از حق چيزى را

نيستشان بدان دانشى پيروى نكنند جز گمان را و همانا گمان بى نياز نگرداند از حقّ چيزى را

و حال آنکه هیچ علم به آن ندارند و جز در پی گمان و پندار نمی‌روند و ظنّ و گمان هم در فهم حق و حقیقت هیچ سودی ندارد.

آنها در اين باره هيچ دانشي نداشتند؛ آنها فقط حدس مي زدند. حدسيات جايگزين حقيقت نمي شود.

And (there is) no knowledge for them with it, that truly they follow except the doubt/suspicion , and that truly the doubt/suspicion does not enrich/suffice from the truth a thing.

While they have no knowledge thereof. They follow but a guess, and verily, guess is no substitute for the truth.

They have not any knowledge thereof; they follow only surmise, and surmise avails naught against truth.

and [since] they have no knowledge whatever thereof, they follow nothing but surmise: yet, behold, never can surmise take the place of truth. [Namely, of the real nature and function of the category of beings spoken of in the Quran as angels, inasmuch as they belong to the realm of al-ghayb, «that which is beyond the reach of human perception». Alternatively, the pronoun in bihi may relate to God, in which case the phrase could be rendered as «they have no knowledge whatever of Him» – implying that both the attribution of «progeny» to Him and the belief that His judgment depends on, or could be influenced by, «mediation» or «intercession» is the result of an anthropomorphic concept of God and, therefore, far removed from the truth.]

Doch zij hebben geene kennis daarvan; zij volgen slechts eene bloote meening; en eene bloote meening vervangt geen ding van waarheid.

While they had no knowledge about this; they only followed conjecture. And conjecture is no substitute for the truth.

mentre non posseggono alcuna scienza: si abbandonano alle congetture, ma la congettura non può nulla contro la verità.

While they have no knowledge thereof. They follow but a guess, and verily, guess is no substitute for the truth.

У них нет об этом никакого знания. Они следуют лишь за предположением, хотя предположение не может заменить истину.

Они не ведают об этом ничего и следуют только догадкам, но догадка не может быть заменой истины.

And they have no knowledge of it; they do not follow anything but conjecture, and surely conjecture does not avail against the truth at all.

And they have no knowledge thereof. They follow but a guess, and lo! a guess can never take the place of the truth.

but they have no knowledge thereof; they do but follow suspicion, and, verily, suspicion shall not avail against the truth at all!

Onların bu konuda hiçbir bilgisi yoktur. Yalnızca sanıya uyuyorlar. Sanı ise haktan hiçbir şey kazandırmaz.

Yet of this they have no knowledge, they follow mere conjecture, and conjecture does not help against truth.

And since they do not learn the Law of Cause and Effect, they can follow nothing but guesswork. And behold, guesswork can never take the place of Truth. (6:149).

They had no knowledge about this; they only conjectured. Conjecture is no substitute for the truth.

But herein they have no knowledge: they follow a mere conceit; and mere conceit can never take the place of truth.

But they have no knowledge herein: They follw no other than a bare opinion; and a bare opinion attaineth not any thing of truth.

But they have no knowledge thereof. They follow nothing but conjecture; and conjecture avails naught against truth.

Jedoch sie haben kein Wissen hiervon. Sie folgen einem bloßen Wahn; und der Wahn vermag nichts gegen die Wahrheit.

Но в этом нет у них познанья никакого – ■ Здесь следуют они своим предположеньям. ■ Но разве могут доводы (людские) ■ Сравниться с Истиной (великой)?

Аларның бу эшләренә дәлилләре дә вә белемнәре дә юк, алар фәкать занга сукыр фикерләренә иярәләр, бит зан сукыр фикер хаклыкка, дөреслеккә һич тә ирештермидер.

حالانکہ ان کو اس کی کچھ خبر نہیں۔ وہ صرف ظن پر چلتے ہیں۔ اور ظن یقین کے مقابلے میں کچھ کام نہیں آتا

اور انہیں اِس کا کچھ بھی علم نہیں ہے، وہ صرف گمان کے پیچھے چلتے ہیں، اور بیشک گمان یقین کے مقابلے میں کسی کام نہیں آتا،
