تَبَّتْ يَدا أَبِي لَهَبٍ وَ تَبَّ

تبّت يدا أبي لهب و تبّ

Tabbat yada abee lahabin watabba

دستهاي ابولهب بريده باد و هلاک بر او باد

زيانكار باد دستان ابولهب، و خود او هم زيانكار شد.

نابود باد دو دست ابو لهب و نابود شد.

نابود باد قدرت ابولهب، و نابود باد خودش؛

زيانكار باد هر دو دست أبو لهب و زيانكار (يا هلاك) شد

بريده باد دو دست ابولهب، و مرگ بر او باد.

دستان ابو لهب زيان كرد و او زيانكار شد.

هلاك باد دو دست ابو لهب و هلاك باد [ابو لهب‏]،

بريده باد دو دست ابى لهب بريده شدنى

شكسته باد دو دوستان ابو لهب، و [ابو لهب‏] هلاك باد

بریده باد هر دو دست ابولهب (و مرگ بر او باد)!

زيانكار- يا بريده- باد دو دست ابو لهب- يعنى كردارش- و نابود باد خود او.

بريده باد دو دست ابى لهب بريده شدنى

بريده باد دستهاى ابى لهب و بريده باد

ابو لهب (که دایم در پی آزار و دشمنی پیغمبر بود با تمام اقتدار و دارایی) نابود شد و دو دستش (که سنگ به رسول می‌افکند) قطع گردید.

ابولهب نابود گرديد و دو دستش قطع گرديد .

Father of the flame of a smokeless fire’s (known as Prophet Mohammad’s uncle) hand was destroyed/lost, and destroyed/lost.

Perish the two hands of Aboo Lahab (an uncle of the Prophet), and perish he!

Perish the hands of Abu Lahab, and perish he!

DOOMED are the hands of him of the glowing countennce: and doomed is he!

De handen van Aboe Lahab zullen ten verderve gaan, en hij zelf verdorven worden.

Condemned is the hand of Abu-Lahab; condemned indeed.
