لَعَلَّنا نَتَّبِعُ السَّحَرَةَ إِنْ كانُوا هُمُ الْغالِبِينَ

لعلّنا نتّبع السّحرة إن كانوا هم الغالبين

تا اگر جادوگران پيروز آمدند همه از آنها پيروي کنيم

تا ما اگر جادوگران پيروز شدند از آنان پيروى كنيم.

تا پيروزى جادوگران را باتفاق هم دنبال كنيم (آنها را تشويق كنيم).

به امید آنکه اگر جادوگران پیروز شدند، از آنان پیروی کنیم.

شايد ما پيروى كنيم جادوگران را اگر بودند ايشان غلبه كنندگان

بدين اميد كه اگر ساحران غالب شدند از آنان پيروى كنيم؟»

تا اگر ساحران پيروز شدند ما از آنها پيروى كنيم؟

[گفتند: آرى، و] باشد كه ما ساحران را پيروى كنيم اگر آنها غالب آيند.

باشد كه ما پيروى كنيم ساحران را اگر باشند ايشان غالبان

باشد كه ما از جادوگران پيروى كنيم اگر آنان چيره گردند.

تا اگر ساحران پیروز شوند، از آنان پیروی کنیم؟!»
