وَ كُنُوزٍ وَ مَقامٍ كَرِيمٍ

و كنوز و مقام كريم

Wakunoozin wamaqamin kareemin

و از گنجها و خانه هاي نيکو ،

و از گنجها و جايگاه نيكو.

همچنين از گنجها و ثروتهاى هنگفت و كاخهاى بزرگ و مقامات عاليه و رياست (دستشان را كوتاه ساختيم).

واز گنج ها ومکان های نیکو [وقصرهای باشکوه بیرون کردیم].

و گنجها و جايگاهى نيكو

و گنجينه‏ها و جايگاه‏هاى پر ناز و نعمت بيرون كرديم.

و نيز از گنجها و مكانهاى مجلل بيرون كرديم.

و گنج‏ها و جايگاهى نيكو [كه داشتند].

و گنج‏ها و جاى خوب

و گنجها و منزلگاهى نيك بيرون رانديم

و از گنجها و قصرهای مجلّل!

و از گنجها و جايگاه نيكو و بزرگوارانه.

و گنج‏ها و جاى خوب

و گنجها و جايگاهى گرامى

و نیز از گنج‌ها و ثروتها و مقامات عالیه ریاست بیرون آوردیم (و به دریای هلاک افکندیم).

و گنج‌ها و مقامي محترم.

And treasures/buried treasures and (an) honoured/generous position/status.

Treasures, and every kind of honourable place.

and treasures and a noble station;

and [deprived them of their erstwhile] station of honour!» [This is apparently an allusion to the honourable state and the prosperity which the children of Israel had enjoyed in Egypt for a few generations after the time of Joseph – i.e., before a new Egyptian dynasty dispossessed them of their wealth and reduced them to the bondage from which Moses was to free them. In the above passage, Pharaoh seeks to justify his persecution of the Israelites by emphasizing their dislike (real or alleged) of the Egyptians.]
