إِنَّ فِي ذلِكَ لآَيَةً وَ ما كانَ أَكْثَرُهُمْ مُؤْمِنِينَ

إنّ في ذلك لآية و ما كان أكثرهم مؤمنين

Inna fee thalika laayatan wama kana aktharuhum mu/mineena

هر آينه در اين عبرتي است ، و بيشترينشان ايمان نياوردند

بيگمان در اين مايه عبرتى هست، و بيشترينه آنان مؤمن نبودند.

مسلما در آن نشانه‏هائيست (از قدرت پروردگار تو) ولى اكثر مردم ايمان نميآورند.

بی تردید در این سرگذشت عبرتی بزرگ وجود دارد و قوم لوط بیشترشان مؤمن نبودند،

بيگمان در اين (شكنجه ايشان) نشانه ايست (بر توانائى ما) و نبودند بيشتر قوم لوط ايمان آورنده

قطعاً در اين [عقوبت‏] عبرتى است، و[لى‏] بيشترشان ايمان‏آورنده نبودند.

به راستى كه در اين ماجرا عبرتى است ولى بيشتر آنها ايمان نياوردند.

بى‏گمان در آن آيتى بود، و ليكن بيشترشان مؤمن نبودند.

بدرستيكه در آن هر آينه آيتى است و نباشند اكثرشان گروندگان

حقّا كه در اين [ماجرا] نشانه‏اى هست. و بيشترشان مؤمن نبودند

در این (ماجرای قوم لوط و سرنوشت شوم آنها) آیتی است؛ امّا بیشترشان مؤمن نبودند.

همانا در اين نشانه و عبرتى است و بيشترشان مؤمن نبودند.

بدرستى كه در آن هر آينه آيتى است و نباشند اكثرشان گروندگان

همانا در اين است آيتى و نيستند بيشترشان ايمان آرندگان

همانا در این هلاک قوم لوط نیز آیت عبرتی (برای دیگران) بود، و اکثر آنها ایمان نیاوردند.

اين بايد درس عبرتي باشد، اما اكثر مردم مؤمن نيستند.

That in that (is) an evidence/sign/verse (E), and most of them were not believing.

Verily, in this is indeed a sign, yet most of them are not believers.

Surely in that is a sign, yet most of them are not believers.

In this [story], behold, there is a message [unto men], even though most of them will not believe [in it].
