أَ وَ لَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُمْ آيَةً أَنْ يَعْلَمَهُ عُلَماءُ بَنِي إِسْرائِيلَ

أ و لم يكن لهم آية أن يعلمه علماء بني إسرائيل

Awa lam yakun lahum ayatan an yaAAlamahu AAulamao banee isra-eela

آيا اين نشانه برايشان بسنده نيست که علماي بني اسرائيل از آن آگاهند ؟

آيا اين براى آنان نشانه[ى صدق] نيست كه علماى بنى اسرائيل آن را [از پيش] مى شناسند.

آيا اعتراف علماى بنى اسرائيل درباره قرآن كافى نيست؟

آیا آگاهی دانشمندان بنی اسرائیل به خبر قرآن [در کتاب های پیشینیان] برای مشرکان نشانه ای [بر حقّانیّت قرآن و صدق نبوّت تو] نیست؟!

آيا نبوده است مشركان را دليلى (بر صحت قرآن) آنكه مى‏دانند قرآن را دانشمندان بنى اسرائيل

آيا براى آنان، اين خود دليلى روشن نيست كه علماى بنى‏اسرائيل از آن اطّلاع دارند؟

آيا همين نشانه كافى نيست كه علماى بنى اسرائيل به خوبى از آن خبر دارند.

و آيا بر ايشان آيتى نيامده بود كه آن را دانايان بنى اسرائيل مى‏دانستند.

آيا نباشد ايشانرا آيتى اينكه ميدانند آنرا علماء بنى اسرائيل

آيا برايشان نشانه‏اى نيست كه عالمان بنى اسرائيل آن را بدانند؟

آیا همین نشانه برای آنها کافی نیست که علمای بنی اسرائیل بخوبی از آن آگاهند؟!

آيا اين براى آنان نشانه‏اى نبود كه دانايان بنى اسرائيل آن را مى‏دانند؟

آيا نباشد ايشان را آيتى اينكه ميدانند آنرا علماء بنى اسرائيل

آيا نيست براى ايشان آيتى كه بدانندش دانشمندان بنى اسرائيل

آیا این خود آیت و برهان روشنی (بر کافران) نیست که علماء بنی اسرائیل (از کتب انبیاء سلف) بر این قرآن آگاهند؟

آيا اين نشانه براي آنها کافي نيست که علماي بني اسراييل از آن اطلاع داشتند؟

Was not an evidence/sign/verse (to) be for them, that Israel’s sons› and daughters› learned ones/knowledgeable know it? (Was not an evidence for them that the Israelites› scholars know of it?)

Is it not a sign to them that the learned scholars (like Abdullah bin Salam ??ho embraced Islam) of the Children of Israel knew it (as true)?

Was it not a sign for them, that it is known to the learned of the Children of Israel?

Is it not evidence enough for them [I.e., for those who disbelieve in the prophethood of Muhammad.] that [so many] learned men from among the children of Israel have recognized this [as true]? [Sc., «and in consequence have become Muslims»: for instance, Abd Allah ibn Salam, Kab ibn Malik and other learned Jews of Medina in the lifetime of the Prophet. Kab al-Ahbar the Yemenite and a number of his compatriots during the reign of Umar, and countless others throughout the world who embraced Islam in the course of centuries. The reason why only learned Jews and not learned Christians as well are spoken of in this context lies in the fact that – contrary to the Torah, which still exists, albeit in a corrupted form – the original revelation granted to Jesus has been lost (see 3:4) and cannot, therefore, be cited in evidence of the basic identity of his teachings with those of he Quran.]

Was het geen teeken voor hen, dat de wijze mannen onder de kinderen Israls die kenden?

Was it not a sign for them that the scholars of the Children of Israel knew it?

Non è un segno per loro che lo riconoscano i sapienti dei Figli di Israele?

Is it not a sign to them that the learned scholars (like Abdullah bin Salam who embraced Islam) of the Children of Israel knew it (as true)?

Разве для них не является знамением то, что ученые сынов Исраила (Израиля) знают его?

Разве для них не явилось знамением [для признания Корана] то, что ученые сынов Исраила знают его (т. е. Коран) ?

Is it not a sign to them that the learned men of the Israelites know it?

Is it not a token for them that the doctors of the Children of Israel know it?

Have they not a sign, that the learned men of the children of Israel recognise it?

Ist es ihnen denn nicht ein Zeichen, daß die Kundigen unter den Kindern Israels ihn kennen?

کیا ان کے لئے یہ سند نہیں ہے کہ علمائے بنی اسرائیل اس (بات) کو جانتے ہیں

اور کیا ان کے لئے (صداقتِ قرآن اور صداقتِ نبوتِ محمدی صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کی) یہ دلیل (کافی) نہیں ہے کہ اسے بنی اسرائیل کے علماء (بھی) جانتے ہیں،
