وَ ما يَنْبَغِي لَهُمْ وَ ما يَسْتَطِيعُونَ

و ما ينبغي لهم و ما يستطيعون

Wama yanbaghee lahum wama yastateeAAoona

آنان نه در خور اين کارند و نه توان آن دارند

و آنان را نرسد، و چنين كارى نتوانند كرد.

آنها را چنين حقى نيست و قدرت نزول آن را نيز ندارند

و [نزول قرآن] سزاوار آنان نیست، و قدرت [وحی کردن چنین کتابی را] ندارند،

و سزاوار نيست براى ديوان (فرود آوردن قرآن) و توانائى نيز ندارند

و آنان را نسزد و نمى‏توانند [وحى كنند].

و سزاوار آنها نيست و چنين كارى نمى‏توانستند،

و آنها را سزاوار نيست و نتوانند.

و نمى‏سزد ايشانرا و نميتوانند

و سزاوار آنان نيست و [نيز] نمى‏توانند.

و برای آنها سزاوار نیست؛ و قدرت ندارند!

نه آنان را سزد و نه توانند

و نمى‏سزد ايشان را و نميتوانند

و نسزد ايشان را و نتوانند

نه هرگز این گونه سخنان از شیاطین شایسته است و نه قدرت (بر نزول آن) دارند.

آنها نه مي ‌خواهند و نه مي ‌توانند.

And (it) should not (be) for them, and they are not able.

Neither would it suit them, nor they can (produce it).

it behoves them not, neither are they able.

for, neither does it suit their ends, nor is it in their power [to impart it to man]:

Dat komt niet overeen met hun doel; ook zijn zij niet in staat zulk een boek voort te brengen.

Nor would they, nor could they.

ché Esso non si addice loro, e neppure avrebbero potuto [produrlo],

Neither would it suit them, nor they can (produce it).

Это не подобает им, и они не способны на это.

это не подобает им, да и не могут они,

And it behoves them not, and they have not the power to do (it).

It is not meet for them, nor is it in their power,

it is not fit work for them; nor are they able to do it.

Onlara yaraşmaz, zaten güçleri de yetmez.

it is not for them, nor are they able.

It is beyond their stature, nor is it in their power.

They neither would, nor could.

It beseemed them not, and they had not the power,

It is not for their purpose, neither are they able to produce such a book;

It does neither suit them nor have they the power to produce it.

Noch schickt es sich für sie, noch vermöchten sie es;

На это власть им не была дана, ■ И не способны они были это сделать, –

Шайтаннарның Коръән белән иңмәкләре һич дөрес булмыйдыр, һәм аларның Коръән белән иңәргә ихтыярлары вә көчләре юктыр.

یہ کام نہ تو ان کو سزاوار ہے اور نہ وہ اس کی طاقت رکھتے ہیں

نہ (یہ) ان کے لئے سزاوار ہے اور نہ وہ (اس کی) طاقت رکھتے ہیں،
