وَ الشُّعَراءُ يَتَّبِعُهُمُ الْغاوُونَ

و الشّعراء يتّبعهم الغاوون

WaalshshuAAarao yattabiAAuhumu alghawoona

و گمراهان از پي شاعران مي روند

و شاعران [كافر] را گمراهان پيروى مى كنند.

و نيز شاعران و ياوه سرايان (و مداحان كفار را گمراهان پيروى ميكنند.

و [پیامبر، شاعر و خیال پرداز نیست، چون] شاعران [خیال پرداز] را [که حقایق را هجو می کنند، و با مطالب بی اساس به واقعیات می تازند] گمراهان، پیروی می کنند.

و شاعران (مشرك كه پيغمبر را هجو مى‏كردند) پيروى مى‏كنند ايشان را گمراهان

و شاعران را گمراهان پيروى مى‏كنند.

شاعران پيشواى گمراهان هستند.

و شاعران گمرهان از ايشان پيروى كنند.

و شاعران پيروى ميكنند ايشانرا گمراهان

و شاعرانند كه گمراهان از آنان پيروى مى‏كنند

(پیامبر اسلام شاعر نیست؛) شاعران کسانی هستند که گمراهان از آنان پیروی می‌کنند.

و [پيامبر شاعر نيست، زيرا كه‏] شاعران را گمراهان پيروى مى‏كنند.

و شاعران پيروى ميكنند ايشان را گمراهان

و شاعران و پيروى كنند گمراهان

و شاعران (یاوه سرای کفار مانند عالمان بی‌عمل و مدعیان باطل) را مردم جاهل گمراه پیروی کنند.

و اما شاعران، فقط گمراهان از آنها پيروي مي ‌كنند.

And the poets, (only) the misguiding/failing follow them.

As for the poets, the erring follow them,

And the poets — the perverse follow them;

And as for the poets [An allusion to the fact that some of the pagan Arabs regarded the Quran as a product of Muhammad’s supposedly poetic mind. (See also 36:69 and the corresponding notes.)] – [they, too, are prone to deceive themselves: and so, only] those who are lost in grievous error would follow them.

En zij die dwalen, volgen de stappen der dichters.

And the poets, are followed by the strayers.

E quanto ai poeti, sono i traviati che li seguono…

As for the poets, the erring follow them,

А за поэтами следуют заблудшие.

За поэтами же следуют сбившиеся с [правого] пути.

And as to the poets, those who go astray follow them.

As for poets, the erring follow them.

And the poets do those follow who go astray!

Şairlere gelince, onlara da çapkınlar-sapkınlar uyar.

Poets are followed by the perverse.

As for poets, the strayers follow them. (Poets claim that they speak out of intuition or inspiration. Their followers succumb to emotional deceit).

As for the poets, they are followed only by the strayers.

It is the POETS whom the erring follow:

And those who err follow the steps of the poets:

And as for the poets – it is the erring ones who follow them.

Und die Dichter – es sind die Irrenden, die ihnen folgen.

Такими (могут быть безумные) поэты – ■ За ними следуют заблудшие (в невежестве своем).

Хакка каршы булган шагыйрьләргә Коръән әһеле иярмәс, мәгәр ахмак вә азгын кешеләр генә иярерләр.

اور شاعروں کی پیروی گمراہ لوگ کیا کرتے ہیں

اور شاعروں کی پیروی بہکے ہوئے لوگ ہی کرتے ہیں،
